HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (HRM)

 


Human Resource Management is the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the procurement, development, compensation, integration, maintenance and separation of human resource to the end that individual, organizational and social objectives are accomplished. In simple language the HRM means management of people at work.

CONCEPT OF HRM 

۰ Human Resource Management is the process which binds people with organization and help both to achieve each others goal.

SCOPE OF HRM

۰ Personal Aspect -   

                                  It is concerned with manpower planning, recruitment, selection, placement, transfer, promotion, training & development, lay-off & retrenchment, remuneration, incentives, productivity, etc.

۰ Welfare Aspect -

                                It deals with working conditions and amenities such as canteens, crunches, rest & lunch rooms, housing, transport, medical assistance, education, health & safety, recreation facilities, etc.

۰ Industrial Relations Aspect - 

                                                  This covers union-management relations, joint consultation, collective bargaining, grievance & disciplinary procedures, settlement of disputes, etc.
